How to Wear a Weightlifting Belt

Quick Answer: Wear your weightlifting belt so that it does not restrict your lift. First, the top of the belt shouldn’t touch your ribs. And the bottom of the belt should not affect the hips when you are flexed or bent. Wear the belt as comfortably as possible but tight enough so that it creates the necessary pressure you need to create intra-abdominal force.
